More weapon sets
Unless there's a way to add more than 4 weapon sets, I would like to have at least 8, because frankly, 4 isn't enough for me

I think he means just double-click the weapons in your inventory.

Maybe adding more weapon slots will teach people about having defensive sets..........

How easy exactly do you want to make the game? It's already a walkover. Next thing you'll want multiple weapon sets for your heroes too, and how about being able to change their armor on the move while we're at it?
Ooh, and what about full-on micro-managing all 7 heroes? And why can't I change skills in combat areas? Why can't I have like 27 skills and multiple skillsets on screen? How about allowing bots just for when you're playing solo, that's not gonna do any harm... And maybe I should be able to have a full team of every hero at once, 8 is just such a restrictive number...
And how about we extend the level 10 buff for eye of the north to all areas of the game and right down to level 1 characters? And make summoning stones permanent, and allow multiple summoning stones too? And what about allowing all characters to wear warrior armor, have ele level energy and makes pets invincible, turn minis into exploding target-seeking grenades, make spears rocket-propelled, give us motorised mounts, make the ending missions available from the start, with no challenge, turn all enemies against each other, give me $2000 a month for bothering to login every so often, pay my broadband, electricity, heating and transport costs, serve me a 4 course dinner every night, raise my kids, put them through college and give me a long easy retirement in the bahamas, sipping cocktails and zooming around on a jetski...
I just can't stand a challenge, like opening my storage and double-clicking a weapon...

Longest analogy I've ever read. Calm down lol.
However, you're being anti-climactic.
If anything, players will benefit from having more weapon slots because it requires further knowledge and smart application for weapon swapping to work. It's not like the game is swapping your weapons for you whenever it detects a certain damage type, or notices a warrior targetting/running at you.
I'm not an advocate for an easy game, I quit HA because of how easy it's become. But weapon swapping and extensive shield sets have been a staple diet for the high-end PvP for a long long time now and I think it should transcend all espects of GW. Even in PvE. Everyone will benefit from a 40/40 and a defensive set.
Personally I'm used to there being only 4 weapon slots so I'm accustomed to keep a small backpack open at the beginning of matches. I don't mind this at all because it makes you prioritise. As a healer monk in HA you must bring your Insp Staff, 40/40, High set and defensive (low set). Some people prefer a defensive set to the max with extra +armour. In GvG, Prot staff and a great emphasis on shield sets (q7/8).
Even if they bring in 8 weapon slots, people will still have to prioritise. But the leading question to come out of this will be what are the slots that should be always there? And the answer will be 40/40 and defensive set.
And if you want to complain that there are more people running around in defensive sets and that's a bad thing, then you're trolling too hard.

This isn't to make the game easier, tbh, it doesn't bother me to swap by opening inv, but it's just something that would see good use.. It doesn't make the game easier in any way, it's just useful..

Clearly more weapon sets is bad, we should go to just one and really show people how the game should be played. Also ruining this game and pandering to lazy players that don't appreciate "hard" work is the ability to make skill sets, we should go back to the days when we had to load all of our attribute points and skills in manually when switching builds. Then we should take out heroes and henchman, and summoning stones so we have to find competent PUGs to get things done. Then get rid of electric generators and rely on water wheels, stop producing modern medicine, and rely on leeches to balance our humours. Then we can all move into a big cave and push a wheel around for fun while we dream of fire. That would be so much better!

This^ epic post.
How does having more sets make the game easier? It's rarely used in pve because you know what you encounter before entering a zone. 4 sets are often more than enough there.
Would be welcome in pvp for people using diff sets.

Yeah, buy new weapon set for 4.99, or pack of 4 weapon sets for only 17.99.
That's the only way they'll make it possible.
